Flower and Garden Festival 2013

Epcot's International Flower and Garden Festival ended about three or four weeks ago but I wanted to post some pictures I took of the two month long event.  This was my first year attending.  There was a pretty impressive collection of Disney character topiaries.

For some reason all of the Disney Princesses didn't have faces.  Maybe human faces are too difficult to create.  It was a little creepy.

Also for the first time in the 20 years of this event, Epcot set up different food booths similar to the ones during The Food and Wine Festival.  Although I didn't find the food as tasty as the Food and Wine Festival's, it was a nice touch.  The lines were not long at all.  This makes me wonder if they're going to scrap the food booths for next year.

This was my favorite dish located at the food booth in The American Adventure Pavilion.  The Beef Brisket on the left was melt in your mouth goodness.

From "The Cottage" food booth -- Potato Chive and cheddar cheese biscuit with Smoked Salmon Tartare and Sour Cream

Florida Fresh food booth -- Shrimp and Stone Ground Grits with Andouille Sausage, Zellwood corn, tomatoes, and cilantro

Also new this year were the Monsters University topiary.  And of course, my favorite thing to come out of the event is the Flower and Garden Duffy Bear!
