Mix It, Make It, Celebrate It!

I'm so excited! My favorite time of year is coming up really soon.  Nope it's not Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas. Brace yourself, my favorite time of year is when Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival starts up and that's in a couple of weeks.

Every year the hubs and I take a week off from work, book a hotel nearby Disney, and spend all our time at Epcot.  We do this thing I like to call "Steady Grazing" where we walk from food booth to food booth sampling all the cuisines from the different countries. In between all the steady grazing we go to lavish Disney food parties and cooking demos featuring celebrity chefs and... we eat some more.  I've been pretty lucky and have met and watched a handful of these chefs over the last four or five years.  It's a great time.

This is the first year Disney has added Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto to their line up.  I think it has a lot to do with him opening his new restaurant, Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs.  Morimoto will not be the first Iron Chef I've met.  He'll be the 3rd.  I met Cat Cora and Alex Guarnaschelli a couple years ago, but Morimoto will be my holy grail.  Did I mention how excited I am???
