Epcot International Festival of the Arts
I love Disney World. The hubs and I have been annual passholders for the past five years. Disney World makes living in Florida bearable. Out of the four different parks, my favorite is Epcot. I love to eat and Epcot is home to some of the best food festivals. There's the famous Epcot International Food and Wine Festival (my favorite), the Flower and Garden Festival, and Holidays Around the World. What's the common theme of each festival? The FOOD! I go to these festivals solely for the different food offerings around the World Showcase. The attractions are cool too, but I'm not going to lie. It's the food that draws me back year after year.
This year they added a new event called the Epcot International Festival of the Arts. I went a couple times during the festival and tried to sample a bit of everything. Here's a few pics of my favorites.
The Decadent Delights booth:
Deconstructed Purple Sweet Potato Pie, Salted Caramel, Bourbon-soaked Cake and Marshmallow Whipped Cream
E=AT2 booth:
Deconstructed Reuben: Classic Reuben with Shredded Corned Beef, Thousand Island Dressing, Pickled Red Cabbage, and a Rye Curl
Deconstructed BLT with Crispy Pork Belly, Tomato Jam, and Soft Poached Egg
Pop Eats! booth:
Popping Bubbles Cocktail
Pop’t Art: Modern-design Sugar Cookie with Chocolate Hazelnut Filling
Cuisine Classique booth:
Port Wine Poached Pear, Vanilla Panna Cotta and Pistachio Crumbs
Seared Red Snapper with braised Ratatouille and Lemon-Thyme Beurre Blanc
The Artist's Table booth:
Callebaut Belgian Sipping Chocolate: Dark Chocolate with Chambord
This festival was a good time. I'm glad Disney is bringing it back next year.
